Discover your musical self through playing the soprano recorder. Students learn the basics of recorder playing and music reading skills. Class is suitable for beginners and those with prior experience. Students get the chance to experience solo, duet, and choir ensemble playing. Listening skills and eye/hand/ear coordination are developed and memory skills are enhanced. Students learn many famous melodies and explore composition. An informal concert is presented on the final day of camp for family and friends. Supply List: Bring a recorder or purchase one from the instructor for an additional $9 materials fee
