This class explores making objects from clay that range from functional vessels to sculptures or whistles. Students learn a variety of handbuilding techniques such as slab, coil and pinch and several methods of surface treatment and glazing. Some projects extend into mixed media. Supply List: All materials, tools and clay are provided. Wear old clothes and bring a large paint shirt and a snack.
