Designed for the beginning throwing student, this course covers the basics of working with the potter’s wheel. Learn to wedge clay, center and throw basic forms. Also included is an overview of the various clay bodies, surface decoration and firing methods. Students should have previous clay experience equivalent to five weeks of Introduction to Ceramics (see above). See information on purchasing clay and tools above
