This introduction to the field of pottery and ceramics explores the incomparable versatility of clay. This class is designed for the clay beginner but accommodates all skill levels and interests. The course guides you through the methods used throughout ceramic history from the simplest techniques to the most sophisticated. Class focuses on handbuilding skills such as pinch, coil and slab as well as sculptural techniques and an introduction to surface decoration and firing possibilities.
